Forever

He sat at the desk located in the far corner of his small apartment, a sort of calm look on his face. Despite all that was going through his mind right then. He even smilled a sad litttle forlorn smile as he opened up the drawer and carefully pulled out the slick almost elegant looking black gun. Quickly he checked it over expertly havingdone this many times before.

Though he'd never managed to convince himself it was the right thing to do. This night however was differnt. He knew what he had to do now, and he knew why he was doing it as well. Slowly he set it down on the desk, before turning to the lap top.

It's screen was the only sorce of light in the dark room. Swiftly his eyes read and re read the lines there, even though he already knew them by heart. Ever litle word and detial depicted there. Nimble fingers moved across the key board, almost too fast to see. Then he stopped with a little sight. his eyes straing to the picutre sitting on the corner of the desk.

Where it always sat, on the top of a large stack of books and papers. Ever since he'd moved in it had always been there. Right where Seiji had placed it when he'd been helping him unpack. The blond stood there staring back at him from behind the glass. His blond hair falling across hisface half hidding the violet gray eyes, and the stray smile the lingered there for all eternity.

With a slightly unsteady hand, Touma brushed his scraggly blue hair out of his face. Wincing as he touched the small cut there. Absently tracing the large bruice on his cheek with the other hand. Anger flashed across his face, as he remembered the fimiliar angery wods uttered in an overly loud voice. But he wouldn't dwel on that past or that present any more.

He only hesiatated a second longer before pirnting out the document, that still lite up the screen of his lap top. Swightly signging his name at the bottem with his favorite blue penTouma sat back in the chair. Slowly he stood up, and walked over to the window. He stood there staring out across the city, with an almost audauble sigh.

A half moon hung over the land scape of concrete and cement sky scrapers. other man made buildings, that now surounded him. he whished for the cool soothing colors of the forest, but shook it off. Surounded by a forest of steel and concrete instead.

Turning away he came back to the desk, and clanced around the room one more time. With a smile, a realm smile he picked up the picture of Seiji and the others. Slowly Touma ran his fingers gently over the cool surface. A tear landed on the glass, and he set it down.

"Don't worry Seiji." He whispered sitting down. Touma picked up the gun. "We'll soon be together again. Just like we were before, only this time...." He put the gun to his head with a sad smile this time. "This time it wil be..." He pulled the triger, desparetly clutching one last time for the picture.. "Forever."

The End
