/Well you'd think he'd actually enjoyed it!/ Shin fell back into the water, letting it was over his face, ignoring it all as he held is breath and kept his eyes closed. Blinking back the tears as he opened his eyes and staring up at the sky through the strange glimmer of the water that washed above his head. But those tears were indistinguishable from the salt water.
Sitting up he cursed, as a fear slipped through his mind. Glancing back at the sea to see if the thing was till there behind him, waiting for him. But there was nothing there except the great expanse of the ocean that rose and fell, up and down up and down. Shivering he turned back to the land in surprise as a sound registered in the back of his brain.
Shin looked up to find Seiji standing year the top of the bluff looking down at him. That calm cool 'Seiji' expression on his face and Shin looked away blushing violently. Not so much as his own nakedness, but the all to close reality of everything that had just happened. He looked down at the water that stilled washed around his body and shivered.
Then suddenly a shadow fell across him and he nearly jumped in surprise as if he had forgotten the blond was even there. Seiji was kneeling in the water next to him. "Shin?" He asked in a soft voice and he met the blonds gaze in surprise. "Are you ok?"
"Yeah. Jus' fine." Shin managed ashamed as he teeth rattled together in his head. "Just a little. Cold."
"Here." Seiji slipped the towel around his shoulders. "What are you doing out here? Did you fall asleep on the beach again?"
"Something like that." Shin muttered excepting his hand, gratefully. He felt extremely tired and quite queazy inside all of the suddenly. Trying to put out of his mind the darker reality of the thing in the water that haunted his dreams and even now his waking moments. Instead he tired to focus on Seiji, the one who had for the longest time been the main figure in his dreams. Even though he knew it was probably the last possible thing that would ever help it.
"Are you sure?" Seiji slipped an arm around the other helping him up the beach. "I.. I mean you know you can talk to me if you need to right? You can talk to any of us, that's what we're here for right? Friends?"
Shin nodded tiredly. "Yeah. Thank's Seiji." He tried to pull away from the blond but Seiji didn't let go.
"Come on I'll help you back to the house." Seiji insisted retrieving Shin's towel from the sand, his keen eyes didn't miss the mess in the sand nor the twin sets of foot prints that were quickly being erased by the raising tide. However he filed it away in the back of his mind, now was not the time.
Carefully wrapping the second towel around Shin's shivering body, he pause for a second before swinging the light auburn haired warrior of the sea up in to his arms. Shin started to protest but Seiji shushed him with a gentle shake of his head. "No arguing." He said setting off and a quick pace across the sand towards the trail that would lead them back to the house.
From the sea a pair of dark facetless eyes glared at them. In a promise of retribution and pain. /He's MINE!/ screamed the deranged mind of the sea.
